In the BVG, the legally prescribed minimum benefits are adhered to. There is no expansion of the pension plan. Although the costs are lower for both employees and employers, both the retirement and risk benefits are low. All the more important is professional advice and information for insured persons, especially as it may be important to take out private supplementary insurance depending on the individual situation.

With extra-mandatory pension solutions, the statutory minimum benefits are met, but better benefits are provided in addition. Whether in the savings process or in risk benefits, insured persons benefit in the long term.

The pension fund is free to use several plans for different collectives. Optional plans can also be implemented and offer individuals flexibility in their pension provision.

Depending on requirements, the salary basis for retirement savings or risk benefits can be defined differently in compliance with the statutory provisions.

The distribution of savings contributions, risk premiums and administrative costs to be borne by the employer or employee can be defined for each category. Compliance with the legal requirements in connection with the obligation to pay contributions is monitored by the Foundation.
