"Müllerbräu-Areal": FUTURA Vorsorge buys construction site A

Today, we were proud to sign the purchase agreement for construction site A of the redesigned "Müllerbräu-Areal" in Baden. This historic site expands our portfolio and increases our direct real estate holdings in the long term.
The acquired construction site A is located directly next to Baden railroad station and comprises three apartment buildings with 60 rental apartments, five commercial spaces on the first floor and the popular Müllerbräu beer garden. The building owner is the fourth-generation family business Brauerei H. Müller AG. The rental apartments are expected to be advertised for rent from summer/autumn 2026 and should be ready for occupancy from summer 2027.
We have 32 properties with around 1,000 apartments in German-speaking Switzerland (mainly in the canton of Aargau) and an additional 4% in commercial properties. We attach great importance to the sustainable construction of our properties in accordance with ESG criteria. In 2014, we set up an internal team of management experts. Since then, FUTURA's assets have grown from CHF 1 billion to CHF 4.4 billion. As a strong partner in the region, our head office has been located in Lupfig since 2022 - in a sustainable new building known as the "Cavendum".
FUTURA Vorsorge was founded in Baden in 1958 by four trust companies. The first of the twelve presidents to date was the Baden entrepreneur Werner Greutert (*1926 † 2021). In 2009, the administrative divisions of the "Baden" NAB-2 Collective Foundation and FUTURA were merged.
